Very comfortable and charming small chalets with a magnificent view!! We spent only one night there, but two would have been better! Very clean and quiet, excellent dinner and everything you need for breakfast. Definitely recommended.

Enjoyed my week stay starting Dec. 1, 2024. Claude and staff were all very welcoming. The accommodations and food were incredible where Jennifer made sure we had the best experience. Josh worked at the bar to make sure our glasses were always full. Luke, my guide was there to ensure the absolute ultimate hunting experience which it was. Thanks to the whole team for a wonderful week.

La Pourvoirie du Cap au Leste is a beautiful destination with great hotel management. The food was also high-class and the views from the dining room were very impressive. Highly recommend.

Club Notawissi is a great place for family fishing and small game hunting with friends. The equipment is top notch and the sunsets are unbeatable. Thanks to Sam and the whole family for the quality of the welcome every time.

A place with the perfect balance between nature and comfort. The views are breathtaking, the restaurant highlights local products impressively. The site offers a wide range of activities both in nature and in the main chalet. You can go hiking, relax at the bar playing board games available on site, take a swim, or play billiards or foosball. There is even an arcade machine in the game room! A stop that is definitely worth it!

Place with spectacular views over the Saguenay fjord. Private chalets are worth the price, especially if you get a free upgrade when you had already lost hope. Half-board dinner offers little choice but the three courses are high quality. Highly recommended.

An amazing location! Stopped for a refreshment here while out on a SXS trip. Beautiful soft white sand beach. Very well equipped large family or multi family cabins. The staff were super friendly and bilingual.

Great and friendly staff. The chalets offer an incredible view on the surrounding area and lake, plenty of activities that are fairly close by. There’s a couple of fun hiking trails if you want to get your steps in while actually enjoying the walk. There’s however many mosquitoes and flies, so I’d advise to practice some karate moves to fight them off. Having WiFi in the chalets would be a great addition instead of it only being available in the main building. The road leading there is a fairly rough dirt road, so beware of what car you are driving. Overall awesome stay.

A great experience! Total disconnect, magnificent landscape, enjoyable activities (spa, buggy, canoe, paddle…) and very attentive staff. Thank you to the whole team for your kindness. We chose a discovery full-board package. The meals were very good and generous. I went alone with my three children (20, 18 and 16 years old) and everyone loved the stay.

I had an incredible experience at WTO & GGO! The whitetail guides were top-notch knowledgeable, patient, and truly passionate about what they do. The lodge staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the food was absolutely out of this world. Every meal felt like a gourmet treat! We snowmobiled down a dead-end trail for a lunch spot. The view from the restaurant was amazing. Very large menu, with alot of delicious options. Everyone was very happy with the food. The food and view was worth it, but the service was fantastic. The manager was helpful getting us some fuel, the hostess and waitress was very accommodating and excited to practice english with us. I would recommend this place to everyone, wouldn't hesitate to return.

The owner Sébastien is an absolute pleasure to talk to and treats his staff and his guests like family. I would highly recommend basing your next trip out of Mekoos if you're in the area!

Beautiful destination with beautiful views. Truthfully there are improvements needed but the reason for my 5 stars is for the 3 individuals who made us feel like family during our time here. We had a wonderful stay at Auberge du Cap au Leste. The view over the fjord is extraordinary. The place is peaceful. The food delicious. Service impeccable. The room clean and the bed comfortable. Great outfitter located on a private lake with individual cabins. Second year going and had a blast with my wife and son. Nice trails for ATV riding and small trout lakes throughout the territory. Beach was very clean and nice sand for swimming. Dog friendly as well.

The place is simply magnificent. The hotel offers a view over the entire fjord. It has a main building (reception, bar, restaurant, pool) and separate lodging buildings. The pool has a fee (but it limits crowding). The hotel offers many free activities (canoe, hiking) and paid ones (fishing, ATV, fjord kayak, helicopter, seaplane…). WiFi only in the main building, not in rooms. Rooms are comfortable but small.

Very beautiful outfitter! The new management is restoring the place nicely (demolition and reconstruction of new chalets, repairing dangerous roads, etc.). Located less than 4 hours from Montreal, a great reasonable-distance option.

Magnificent inn with many small chalets truly in nature mode. We stopped by chance and discovered the amazing view this inn offers over the Saguenay fjord. Highly recommend stopping to see this view — definitely worth it.

This was the first hunt I ever booked and didn't quite know what to expect. The moment we arrived we were treated like family and made us feel at home. Claude and his staff was so amazing and so personable and pleasant. Always making sure we were enjoying ourselves and had what we needed. The food was top notch and absolutely delicious never went hungry that's for sure. We will definitely be back again. The ideal destination for snowmobiling. I spent 2 days there and it was incredible — the staff, the rooms, and the food, just wow, plus the amazing view. We arrived Saturday morning at 4am after a 7-hour drive, slept about 2 hours in the car, and staff came around 7am inviting us inside for coffee and to warm up and even gave us our room early (check-in was only at 4pm). Huge thanks to them — very warm welcome. We’ll see you again soon.

Very pleasant atmosphere with a bar and restaurant oriented toward nature where it’s nice to relax, read, play or chat. A beautiful place that makes you forget the slightly small room size. Bedding is decent. Dinner and breakfast are very good, though slightly expensive due to the remote location.

Nice stay. Beautiful sandy beach. Plenty of well-maintained water sports equipment. Pleasant restaurant with good meals. Very welcoming staff ensuring full satisfaction — making the stay even better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even though I don't speak French. This place is about a 30 minute drive from Saguenay, and off a 7 km dirt road. This was just what I was looking for; to be near natural attractions. There are good trails right from the lodge, or there are many options for hikers in the nearby national park. We stayed in a chalet, which is small but comfortable and rustic. The bathroom was better than I expected for a small chalet. Spectacular views! We had dinner at the lodge on two nights. It was a Prix-fixe menu, different each night. I loved the duck breast! There was a small lake nearby where we went swimming. A nice bar with many local beers and liquors.

Totally exceeded expectations! We had a great Chalet with a full kitchen, and everything we needed including a big bin of dry hardwood for wonderful stove fires nightly. Isabelle made check in and sled rentals extremely easy and quick. We were on the trails in no time. Breakfasts and dinners were top notch, with generous portions, and the service was second to none thanks to Massimo.

My father in law and I did a bear and waterfowl hunt and it was one of the best experiences we’ve had with an outfitter. The lodge is cleaned daily and the meals were outstanding not to mention we both shot great bears! Highly recommend!!

What a fantastic experience my friends and I had this winter at Meekos. Even with low snow levels the trails were well maintained. Our cabin was bright and extremely clean, stocked with wood and ready to go. The staff was top notch, with Isabelle, leading the way making sure we always had a smile on ours faces and a belly full of food and drink. Dinners were wonderful with multiple courses and perfectly prepared food that you would expect from a pourvoirie. All other amenities were all up and running as well. I am quite seriously already counting the days until my next trip to see Sebastian and the rest of the staff! The speedo is already packed!
