Day 1
Transfer from the airport to the Double Tree hotel
Welcome to Montreal! Our representative from the Aventure Mekoos team warmly greets you at the airport and takes you to the Double Tree By Hilton hotel, in the heart of the city. Enjoy the ideal location to explore the many activities of the metropolis.
Day 2
Transport from Montreal to Mekoos and the action begins
At 8 AM, a coach takes you north where you will meet Sébastien for a welcome cocktail. Settle into your cabins and receive your "Grand Froid" equipment. After lunch, a safety briefing and explanations on how snowmobiles work, followed by an introduction to snowmobiling trails with your guide.
Day 3
Snowmobile Day
Excited by your first snowmobiling experience, you wake up, get dressed, eager to continue the adventure. Head south, then north to discover the Kiamika Reservoir, a vast frozen expanse 18 km long and 5 km wide. Admire the devastation caused by deer in Chutes-Saint-Philippe, then return to the Mekoos outfitter.
Day 4
Snowmobile Day
The themes of this snowmobile day are infinity and authenticity. Climb the Montagne du Diable in Ferme-Neuve and enjoy a traditional sugar shack meal! At the summit, admire a breathtaking landscape. Discover the powerful Windigo Falls, then savor a maple feast. Back at the inn, relax in the outdoor hot tub at -20°C.
Day 5
Dog sledding day
Myriam's dogs are waiting for you, eager to show you their territory. Drive your sled by giving the commands "djee" for right, "yap" for left, and "en avant" to move forward. A unique experience where man and dog become partners. Dine like trappers in a remote cabin. Three words for this day: "return to the roots." In the evening, return to the outfitter for an aperitif, dinner, and the night.
Day 6
Woodsman Day
The trapper from the Mekoos outfitter shows you how to prepare the holes for ice fishing. You will be ready to tease the speckled trout, which the Chef will prepare as an appetizer if you wish. In the afternoon, live like true woodsmen. On snowshoes, your guide takes you through the forest and introduces you to trapping, a method of wildlife management. Then return to the cozy warmth of the lodge and your cabins.
Day 7
Already time to say goodbye
After one last night and a good breakfast at Mekoos, it's time to take the coach to Montreal. Perhaps we will see each other again? We will stay here, ready to welcome you back! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing this Mekoos adventure with us!
