Day 1
Arrival at Mekoos and black bear observation
Welcome to Pourvoirie Mekoos! In the blink of an eye, it's love at first sight. After a welcome cocktail, you will receive the keys to your palace. Free afternoon? Canoeing, hiking, spa... It's paradise on earth, or almost! The evening promises: a 4-course feast followed by a face-to-face encounter with black bears.
Day 2
Fishing day
Today, head out fishing with our passionate guide! Learn the basics of this sport, admire the landscapes while enjoying your lunch outdoors, and who knows, you might even taste your own aquatic catch prepared by our chef for dinner. In the evening, a campfire by the lake and marshmallows await you.
Day 3
Buggy ride
After a dreamy night, set off for 160 km of happiness in a buggy! Your guide will brief you on safety (and how to avoid trees). Head to the Auberge de Manawan located in an Atikamek Indigenous community for a champion's dinner and a well-deserved rest. Expect hilarious and unforgettable adventures!
Day 4
Fishing day in an Indigenous community
Second fishing day, this time for walleye with the Atikamek! Expect stories of ancestors and epic survival. Lunch at the Matacan site, a true return to the roots. Last night at the Manawan inn before hitting the road back to Mekoos.
Day 5
Return to Mekoos by buggy
After a good breakfast at the inn, head to the Mekoos Outfitters! In your buggy, with the wind in your hair, admire the grand landscapes and vast spaces along the way. For your last night in the Quebec forest, our chefs will prepare a feast fit for kings. Get ready for a night of dreams and laughter under the stars!
Day 6
See you soon!
This is your last day before hitting the road and returning to the old continent. It has been a great pleasure for us to share our daily life with you in this corner of paradise.
